Because I love classical mythology, I’m also very interested in ancient people and the way they lived their lives. I haven’t had much opportunity to work this into my work for Silhouette Nocturne, but as a wordsmith I am always looking for new ways to describe old ideas.

Today’s struggle included a long stretch on trying to describe an ancient Roman hobnailed boot…I think I came up with the right description when I decided to call it a cleated war sandal.
