		<description>My problem with making a TV series of Spartacus is that, well, the story has an &lt;i&gt;ending.&lt;/i&gt;  Where the protag, like, dies.  And I&#039;m wondering what they&#039;re going to do if the series is popular enough that the execs get to thinking, &quot;You know, we could string this out for years and years and make a ton of money....&quot;

Or maybe that&#039;s just me being overly cynical.  [cough]

I like this period too, but I&#039;ve long since lost any faith that TV (or movies) will do a really good job with any historical project, the occasional exception like &lt;i&gt;Rome&lt;/i&gt; notwithstanding.
