Bait and switch! I was enjoying the pursuit of the first maiden when the centurion shows up. A female centurion is definitely an intriguing character.

I rather love the opening line. Another week, another great post! Angie’s right, he’s a jerkwad.

I read this line and I was like, oh that’s messed up. “I’ll tell you what, Centurion: you can take the maiden’s place. I planned to invite her to my room, but you’re Ticanee, so a dirty alleyway will suffice for you.”

I LOVED when she stood up to him. She was ready to take him out!
