A Siren’s Song #sixsunday
Welcome! First a little bit of good news. I recently found out that my novella, Siren Song, won CataRomance’s Reviewer’s Choice Award for 2011. In honor of that, I think I’m going to take a little break from The Fever & The Fury and give you a snippet from Siren Song:

Once inside, Chloe leaned on the door and closed her eyes. This should have been one of the best nights of her life. Instead, her show was ruined. She had to give up singing because she was apparently some kind of ancient murdering monster. Worse–who would believe it could actually get worse?–the first guy she’d felt an intense attraction to in a long time was a kidnapping merman who couldn’t even kiss her.
Awesome.
The story behind all this? Chloe Karras is an up and coming rock singer whose pop-star powers derive from the fact that she is a siren. She learns this when a Naval Officer accuses her of luring midshipmen to their deaths and tries to force her to leave town. But as Chloe protests her innocence, the two begin to unravel a mystery and she learns that she’s not the only one with a killer voice.
I hope that even if you aren’t ready to buy it, you’ll add it to your goodreads To Be Read pile!
While I’ve got your attention, I thought I might interest you in a few other things.
